To long. Forget it. Listen to someone else like The Darkness they aren't breaking up.

I went today to get a membership at the YMCA. It was a lot more than I thought it was going to be. It is $27 a month, plus a $50 entry fee. They wanted $77 up front. I wasn't expecting that. Oh well, I get payed twice on Friday.

Right now I am putting some Stryper cd's on my computer. Their first three for now, which are; "The Yellow And Black Attack", "Soldiers Under Command", and "To Hell With The Devil." I have been a fan of Stryper for over half my life. I got into them when I was 12. I am 29 now. Twelve is also the same age I started playing drums. So in some was they have been a huge influence on my life. Yes they have a website. www.stryper.com

Yesterday when I was on Kazaa someone started downloading two RLP songs from me. I was a bit suprised and wanted to find out who this person was. It turns out it was a 17 year old girl from California who heard of us from some indie band website and wanted to check us out. She seemed curious about playing live shows. Anyway enough of that.

Bye bye

I just downloaded a new Blindside song online. It is called "All Of Us". If you have heard the song "About A Burning Fire" and wondered if they were going to sound like their second album again they are not, at least I think not by the way the new song sounds. It has maybe a small scream towards the end of the song. The song sounds real good and I can't wait to get the new album.

I am still putting cd's on my computer. I have so many now, I am not going to try to count them. I added the first Red Letter Project cd to the Windows Media info center so if anyone has one and they put it on their computer while it is online the cd info should come up. Speaking of bands that I am a part of, my new band has three songs complete. You might say that isn't many, which it isn't in number of songs, but that is about 25 minutes worth of music. One song is clocking in at just over ten minutes long. Yes we are a progressive rock band, forgive us for the song length cliche. I will post our name here as soon as we have one.

Um, that is all for now.

It is a great day. I just ordered three Cornerstone festival early access tickets. This means that the gates open 7 hours earlier for people with these tickets. Isaac has one if he wants it. The other two are for Amanda and I. This will be my first C-stone with a real girlfriend. I am stoked. It is still 6 months away, but it seems like it is just around the corner.

I decided to keep my Dead Poetic track jacket. After I put it on again it actually fit the way it was intended to fit. It looks very cool and I wore it all day yesterday. Amanda really loved it. By the way for anyone interested this is the track info for the new Dead Poetic album "New Medicines" due out April 6th :
1.) Taste The Red Hands
2.) The Dreamclub Murders
3.) New Medicines
4.) Vanus Empty
5.) Bury The Difference
6.) Molotov
7.) Glass In The Trees
8.) Dimmer Light
9.) Hostages
10.) Modern Morbid Prophecies
11.) Hoax To Live For

DP is one of my favorite bands and I believe this cd is going to smoke.

AC/DC's 'Back In Black' Second-Best-Selling Album of All Time

AC/DC's 1980 album, "Back in Black", has been certified by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) as the world's second-best-selling album. At 42 million copies sold, it lags only behind Michael Jackson's "Thriller", which moved more than 56 million copies.

In case you didn't know Embodyment broke up. Norma Jean has a new singer, Cory Putman from Eso-Charis. Jesse Smith has supposedly left Zao, let the drama of Zao continue to unfold. Dave Mustaine of Megadeth gave his heart to Christ a little while ago. He recently recorded a song with Pillar for their upcoming album. The Death Campaign has also broken up. As I Lay Dying is hosting Headbanger's Ball this weekend.

\mm/ To much metal for one hand

So the mail comes. I am excited. There is a big package with my name on it. I know what it is and I can't wait to open it. Sure enough it is my Dead Poetic track jacket here two days after I ordered it. Wait a minute, the zipper is backwards. Wait another minute it says "large" on the tag. I put it on. IT IS A GIRLS TRACK JACKET. That's no good at all. So now I am waiting for a reply back to see if I can get the guys version. I sure hope so the design of the jacket is awesome.

I have a new band infatuation which is sure to draw some criticism, The Darkness. I can't get enough of this cd. I listen to it about every day. The singer is so over the top but the music just kicks old school 70's rock and roll butt. Approach with caution.

I added about 75 cd's to my computer along with the 650 mp3's I already have. I am going to be making some mix cd's for some people soon. I still have a lot of cd's to add yet.

Hello, if anyone still reads here. Things have been going well in my life. Well I guess I should fill you in on some things. I have a beautiful and wonderful Christian woman in my life named Amanda. I have known her for about four and a half years. I met her when she was in Master's Commission in 1999 in Lafayette. She has a seven year old son named Zachary who is wonderful as well. I don't have any pictures to send out yet but I will try to have some soon.

God has been working a lot in my life. He has been preparing me for so much stuff lately and I am so grateful for His continued patience and grace in my life. I have been attending a new church and it is wonderful. It reminds me of Tehillah Toronto. It is called Whitehorse Christian Center.

For all of you metal heads out there I received a new cd in the mail today from a Dutch band called Textures. The name of the cd is Polars. It is completely awesome. It reminds me of the new Extol album Synergy, just a little heavier. (www.texture.nl) I also got an Australian only release of Silverchair - Live From The Faraway Stables. It comes with two cds and two dvds of the same performance. It is an incredible performance. This is a must for any Silverchair fan, good luck finding it though. You can order it through www.chairpage.com. I also bought the first Van Halen album and it smokes (duh), truly a classic rock and roll album. From top to bottom not a bad song. Awesome debut 25 years ago. It came out in 1978, I had know idea they had been around that long.

My new band is still nameless, but we are writing some awesome stuff. It is so much fun to play the kind of music we play. The cops shut our practice down on Monday in the middle of recording a song. I could tell he didn't want to do it. He had a very reluctant tone. Oh well, I guess we will have to make some adjustments. Any way talk to you all later.

Peace and love.
